Walking Holidays in Italy- Glorious Sarnano & Le Marche Region
Villa San Raffaello is the base and an ideal location for a walking holiday in Italy. We have received the trip advisor excellence award for 5 consecutive years and are only 1km from the lovely medieval village of Sarnano.
Our walking holidays in Italy are based a few steps from the foothills of the Sibillini Mountains and after a hard days hiking ramblers can sit in hammocks in our vineyard, or, sunbathe at the big pool with its mountain views.
We also have an organic vegetable garden and supply free produce and wine to guests for that alfreco evening meal.
Named one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, Sarnano is a few kilometers from the Mountains and the National Park. It has great shops, locally produced food, bars, restaurants and a Spa making it the ideal spot to kick back after a day trekking in the Italian countryside.
There are also many other beautiful Le Marche landmarks, medieval villages, beaches, lakes and historic places of interest nearby for trips and tours if you fancy a day off.
Our guided walking holidays in Italy include daytime hikes of about 4 hours a day. These walking tours are the best way to get off the beaten track and under the skin of the beautiful Marche region.
However, some ramblers may want the freedom to go on trips, tours and walks at your own pace. In which case, there are superb local maps with marked walks and hikes that make independent walking holidays in Italy and self-guided walking holidays in Italy very easy.
