Summer walking in the Sibillini Mountains
There are numerous guided walks and tours going out into the foothills of Le Marche and hiking up the Sibillini Mountains. These include night hikes, stargazing trips and; whilst you are walking, the guides will help you understand more about the history, legends, nature, geography and geology of this dramatic part of Le Marche region.

Saturday 3 August 2013:LAME ROSSE, The monks cave and the FIASTRONE gorge

Sunday 4 August 2013: The hills of the Ascolani.
From the historic Porta Cartara adjacent to Cartiera Papale at the plain of Colle San Marco, along the ancient mule tracks that connect the Piceno heartlands to the mountians, includes a visit to the hermitage of S. Tuesday 6 August 2013: INFERNACCIO. The hermitage of San Leonardo and the hidden waterfall.
Walking in the cool beech wood near to Montefortino (FM) to the waterfall of the Torrente il Rio, along the incredible Hell’s gorge to the hermitage which marks the spot of the first Cappucian priory. Tuesday 6 August 2013: MONTE SIBILLA.

Thursday 8 August: Lake PILATO from Foce, Montemonaco (AP).
Guide led hike in the heart the Sibillini mountains, learn about legends, tales of fairies and demons walking along valleys and up Monte Vettore to this famous spot . Ascent time: 2,30-3,00 h (excluding stops), descent: 1,30-2,00 h Ascent: 900 m. Difficulty E.
Friday 9 August 2013: Waterfall and meadows of the Volpara.
