Italy Reviews
This Italy reviews page is dedicated to some of the kind folk who have posted Italy travel reviews of the Villa and their tour of Italy on holiday review sites and in newspapers. Every holiday review of our Italian farmhouse is really valued by us.
The reviews of the holiday accommodation, your tours of Italy and Italian travel, the Italian food and the restaurants in this part of Le Marche Italy all help future travellers to form an opinion and make a decision and compare us to the other hotels and tour companies. Thanks to you we are grateful recipients of the Tripadvisor excellence award for 2012
Italian Restaurant reviews
We encourage our guests to go out and sample the Italian slow food on offer at the 20 restaurants nearby, we encourage them to write Italian restaurant reviews and a review of the food they have eaten, writing Google reviews and trip advisor reviews but also providing us with feedback to enable us to make recommendations to future holiday makers.
We now have a really infomative Italian restaurant review page that provides the visitor with a great overview of the food and type of restaurant on offer locally.
Italy tour reviews & Italy travel reviews
Travel and tourism to this part of Le Marche is increasing and there are a number of Italy tour companies covering this enchanting area. For over 5 years we have been writing Italy tour reviews and Italy travel reviews and have encouraged our guests to do the same.
These reviews of tours and travel have been used to create interesting and we hope compelling articles on sightseeing, itineraries based on Italy tours reviews from past guests, outlet shopping tours, winery & vineyard tours, walking & hiking tours, mountain tours, pilgrimages, cultural tours or beach holidays.
Italy hotel reviews
Our holiday Villa has received many great reviews and these are not only a great source of pride but also help us to promote our holidays to future travellers. The reviews of our Italian farmhouse & apartments can be found below or via the Italy trip advisor reviews page which explains how tripadvisor works, how to write an Italy hotel review, how to research Italy tours reviews, the travel forums and the dangers on missing out on viewing “speciality lodgings reviews” which are subtly becoming hidden as trip advisor promotes “vacation rental reviews” which are a paid service.

We stayed in apartment Elisa – a first floor apartment comprising double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom, lounge and modern kitchen and dining room. Access is via the courtyard with jasmine plants growing up the walls. The great feature of this apartment is the balcony and breakfast area. …..

Where do I begin? … Well let me start by offering some perspective, I enjoy travelling and have taken many trips to lots of lovely places – but I can honestly say that I don’t think I’ve EVER enjoyed a holiday as much as the one I’ve just had at Villa San Raffaello. On other holidays I’ve experienced either great food, or fabulous scenery, or exceptionally welcoming locals – but seldom have I been anywhere that literally ticks every holiday box I have. Nicki and I married on Feb 17th 2007 and were looking for the ideal place to spend our honeymoon after 3 days in Rome. We booked a week at Villa San Raffaello with our daughter. Every bit of our holiday lived up to our expectations. Our first impression of the house – completely stunned by its position and surroundings. Read more…

The restaurants in the area range from special (grand) to rustic but all are so friendly and reasonable. With the town of Sarnano only 15 minutes’ walk from the villa, an evening sampling the fine wines (local) can be undertaken with no drink drive problems. Read more…

This was our first family holiday in Italy. We have two children aged 3 and 5yrs. We stayed at the Villa San Raffaello which has recently undergone extensive renovation and refurbishment and now has four spacious self-catering apartments. There is still plenty of exposed original stonework and wooden beams and ceilings to remind you. Read more…

We stayed at this amazing villa at the foot of the Sibillini Mountains, it combines old architecture with funky modern twists in 4 apartments, is set in some lovely countryside and has incredible views. We particularly loved the cool indoor courtyard garden and the loggia where you could escape from the heat of the day. Read more…

After a hectic and heady year of toil, what better place than this to unwind and relax. The Villa itself is in a perfect setting with stunning views and welcome tranquility. Accomodation and hospitality was top drawer.

If you’re looking for a spectacular location, relaxation and fun I’d really recommend the Villa San Raffaello. This place is great for kids too as, on top of the pool, there’s so many things to keep them entertained. Our family, with children aged 10 and 12, stayed at Villa San Raffaello for a week at the end of August and can only say that it was a really magical experience. The weather was hot but the pool is big and cool. The kids had great fun with the owners’ children who were lovely and very hospitable. Read more…

Our accommodation was spacious and faultless and the view across the valley to the hilltop town of Sarnano and the mountains in the distance, is simply spellbinding – particularly when you’re sat by either the pool or in the courtyard
Italy hotel reviews – Mike, London
Our apartment was kitted out to a high specification yet retained character features, the kitchen was a joy to prepare food in and we had a choice of dining area, usually it was breakfast outside in the morning sun, lunch in the courtyard garden and in the evening gin and Tonics on the balcony.

The sun strikes the swimming pool at the villa about 8am, our favourite time for a swim, he pool is 14m long and large enough to get a good swim in. We often returned poolside after a mornings walking- which you can do directly from the villa or in the neighbouring Sibillini National Park. The views from the pool are stunning- we would never have considered a swimming pool an essential part of a holiday but have changed our minds after this visit.

These apartments are modern clean and stylish and are brilliant for sharing (groups). The setting is beautiful and the welcome is very warm.

The owners, Damien and Sharon have a large organic vegetable plot which is for the use of the guests; this is just one of the small touches that made our week at the villa so memorable.Great accommodation, great location, great time!
