Horse riding Italy – with a difference
Villa San Raffaello is a converted farmhouse and our 8 acres of land are now rented to an organic farmer. We do not have horses ourselves but offer daily horse back riding using the superb facilities at one of two maneggio or equestrian horse riding centres a stones throw from our B&B. One is an agriturismo and the other a non-profit cooperative.
The Central Italian region of Le Marche is known as “all of Italy in one region”, for its rennaissance art, history and culture but also for the incredible landscapes, the warm hospitality of the people, the amazing wine and the delicious cuisine. If you come on an equestrian holiday in Italy at Villa San Raffaello you can help yourself to the fruit and vegetables grown organically on our land and make use of the 20 restaurants in the local area of Sarnano.

Horse riding breaks in Italy – Whatever your standard
The two local horse riding centres offer a horse riding breaks for all levels of horse rider, horse riding lessons can be booked hourly or in blocks on a weekly equestrian holiday package which caters for novice riders, for riders who are able to walk, trot and canter and be comfortable in the saddle for a number of hours at a time.
Experienced horse riders can ride alone on self guided horse riding down the many tracks and trails that go deep into the rolling Le Marche countryside. Holiday makers on an Italian equestrian holiday at Villa San Raffaello can spend as much or as little time on horseback as they like but once dismounted they are free to relax round the big pool, take a tour this fantastic region, or else enjoy one of the other options found on our Free time pages.
