We will always remember our week
here at Villa San Raffaello: sitting on the patio,
gazing at the lovely village of Sarnano, nibbling
on plates of Ascoli OLives, local pecorino, tomatoes
and basil picked from the grounds, sipping chilled
verdicchio. Our hosts Damien and Sharon could not
have been more gracious or helpful, we returned
from outings to find a plate of freshly picked
figs or a brochure describing a local festa. We
loved exploring the region, from the beautiful
City of Ascoli to the Roman ruins of Urbs Salvia
and after a hot day of sightseeing a swim in the
crystal clear pool was very refreshing. We hope
to return and wish all future guests the magical
experience that we have had here.

We have had the most amazing time in this little spot of paradise. San Raffaello surpassed all of our expexctations. The accommodation is tasteful and full of character and the views are magnificent. Sharon and Damien's tips resulted in a a great and diverse itinerary with days based on their recommendations. We wish them all the best and hope to visit again.

We have had a a really fantastic
time at Villa San Raffaello- can't think of a better
place to unwind and relax, especially sitting by
the pool staring out at the ever-changing mountains
and hills- It's been the perfect place for a honeymoon.

This is one of the most magical
places that I have ever been to. You've created
a haven of peace and tranquility which restores
the soul. I will have no hesitation in recommending
San Raffaello to friends and family and know that
they will have an equally wonderful time. Le Marche
has so much to offer in the way of great scenery,
excellent walking, interesting historic sites,
brilliant shopping (particluarly the markets ,
not least the Antiques at Ascoli) and fabulous
restaurants at great prices. Please can I come
again!

We love your spot here in Sarnano and have loved our 5 weeks here in your special place. Thanks you for all your help with our house search and your wonderful hospitality. It is truly hard to tear ourselves away... we will be thinking of you in this beautiful place and we will surely be back soon.

This has probably been one of my favourite holidays in my 13 year life and my parents would much agree........ 2 weeks here makes it feel like home, but we already have a home and are going to miss here.

Congratulations Sharon, Damien, Louis and Grace, you've succeeded in creating something very special - comfortable apartments in a glorious rustic setting. We've had a relaxing week enjoying the sun and surroundings and, of course, your family's warm hospitality. Well done. We'll definitely be back.

We are honoured to be the first 'paying guests' at Villa San Raffaello! Sharon, Damien, Louis and Grace have obviously worked very hard to get the place to the high standard we see and deserve to be very
proud of themselves. We have had a wonderful stay - good swims, glasses of wine, looked at properties and fed abandoned kittens! we will definitely be back soon and would recommend Villa San Raffaello to anyone and everyone.

Well what can we say? Two weeks of relaxation (as
much as you can possibly have with a 16mth old who has just learned
to walk!!), fantastic scenery, delicious food and first class accommodation.
We don't want to go home!! Unfortunately work and our dog and two
cats beckon. Thank you Damien, Sharon, Louis and Grace for making
us feel so welcome, for all your 'top tips', for occupying Jake
and making this the best holiday we've had in a very long time.
We've not wanted for anything and that's credit to you all.

and I married on Feb 17th 2007 and were looking for the ideal place
to spend our honeymoon after 3 days in Rome. We booked a week at
Villa San Raffaello with our daughter. Every bit of our holiday
lived up to our expectations. Our first impression of the house
- completely stunned by its position and surroundings.… Read

The
restaurants in the area range from special (grand) to rustic but
all are so friendly and reasonable. With the town of Sarnano only
15 minutes' walk from the villa, an eveni

(local) can be undertaken with no drink drive problems… Read more

This
was our first family holiday in Italy. We have two children aged
3 and 5yrs. We stayed at the Villa San Raffaello which has recently
undergone extensive renovation and refurbishment and now has four
spacious self-catering apartments. here is still plenty of exposed
original stonework and wooden beams and ceilings to remind you…

We
stayed at this amazing villa at the foot of the Sibillini Mountains,
it combines old architecture with funky modern twists in 4 apartments,
is set in some lovely countryside and has incredible views. We particularly
loved the cool indoor courtyard garden and the loggia where you
could escape from the heat of the day… Read
