Hiking in Italy - Trail walking in Le Marche and the Sibillini Mountains
Most visitors to Italy love to visit medieval villages, admiring the art, culture, history and food, travelling through the glorious countryside they often remark on it's incredible beauty. However, to really get under the skin of Italy and beautiful Le Marche and understand the way the people live you should try getting off the beaten track and immersing yourself in the wonderful flora and fauna.
Walking & Hiking Itineraries
We have often been frustrated at the lack of resources available to walkers in Le Marche and now offer our clients over 25 detailed itineraries to allow you to fully appreciate the awesome scenery that surrounds the Villa. The walks and hikes range from easy to challenging and all include maps and detailed instructions, distances an
d the height being climbed.
Walking in Le Marche's rolling hills
There are a range of circular walks available from the villa, ranging from 2-30 km. These are generally easy or only moderately challenging and take in the ancient villages, rivers and rolling hills around Sarnano and most pass by a local osteria or trattoria for essential refuelling. All the walks have amazing views of the Mountains and a number enter the Sibillini National Park.
Hiking in the Sibillini Mountains
Guests will be provided with circular itineraries for a large variety of hikes in the national park, these range from easy to challenging and many follow the mountain ridges at 2000 metres with views of the Adriatic to the East and Umbria to the West. Where possible these routes pass by Mountain refuges which are open for lunch or a drink in the Summer or at weekends.
